Rxtra Care at the Mount

The Pharmacy at the Mount is an in-house pharmacy for a long term care facility called Providence Mount St. Vincent, or more commonly known as "The Mount." The Mount itself is a care community for older adults that celebrates and encourages living and individual capability. Owned and operated by the Sisters of Providence and the Providence Health System, The Mount has been in the same location atop a West Seattle hill since 1924. Over 400 older adults who are retired and need some type of assistance with their daily living or are in need of 24-hour care call the Mount their home. Rxtra Care is also proud to call the Mount one of its homes. In addition to providing custom packed medications for the special needs of the residents, the pharmacy at the Mount also provides consultation and medication therapy management reviews for each individual resident. This simply ensures that each resident is getting the most out of his or her pharmaceutical therapy and that we are working with the nurses and physicians to enhance each resident's quality of life to the fullest.
